|September has been a wild month here at the studio with weddings every weekend and a Calvin Klein behind the scenes shoot last Thursday in NYC.
Below is the beautiful wedding of Kristin & Christian taken in Rhode Island. We made a couple of scenic stops between ceremony and reception that allowed me to play with the surroundings. I love the outdoors and always feel grateful for a sunny day where I can have freedom to play and watch my couples shine.
I want to thank Hester at Emma Events for referring me to Kristin, her sister, to document their special day - it's an honor!
Hester also did their wedding planning.

thanks for a great day!
|Alex and Alexis the hip couple in Brooklyn whose engagement session i recently photographed - were married this weekend at BAM in Brooklyn. The wedding was beautiful - the couple wrote their own vows - it got quite emotional - a friend was the officiant and a hip band called Vampire weekend played especially for them and had everyone on the dance floor singing their original tunes.
Check out Alex's dress - drop dead gorgeous and what a figure and her pill box hat with feather accent the perfect touch.
We really lucked out today since the day called for heavy thunderstorms.
When Jeff and I arrived to their pre ceremony location it was quite dry with the exception of dark clouds. We were able to head outdoors for the first look and candid shots when Alexis commented, I call it playing with fate, announced how great that it wasn't raining. Well, we all hollered "DON"T SAY THAT" of course it started to rain just as we finished whew!
Alex & Alexis, thanks for a fantastic experience and so great getting to know you!

|The Polaroid above I love because it was shot the day Alexis proposed to Alex. Jeff found the polaroid on their table not realizing the story behind it. The juxtaposition works.|

|Alex is so beautiful in these shots and the setting a perfect backdrop, i couldn't resist adding a few|
|Because it was dark and raining outside - we took many of the casual family shots indoors. I thought the green backdrop would be perfect and different. We had so much fun and so did the family.|
|What a hoot! the girl on the right has a drink in each hand.|

|Remember the fun engagement session in Coney Island? Well this is the couple Jen & Adam who tied the knot this Saturday! They had a gorgeous stunning wedding. The reception was to die for and the lighting spectacular - a photographer's dream. And.. the cake-wow! The bridesmaids wore black dresses with a beautiful netted hair piece Jen's mom created - vintage inspired. They looked hip and lovely.
Jen & Adam were again fantastic to hang out with - a good day and very inspiring!
Just had a sneak peek at their video - it's fun and fresh - really love the edit - had me smiling the whole time.
