Behind the Scenes Coverage of CK - TV Spot

01 • 31 • 09     •     Fashion

Not as literal but adding to my sweets this week, was a fun two day shoot documenting the stills for a new Calvin Klein commercial. My job was to cover "behind the scenes" making of the commercial which included shots of the the director, agency, models and sets. It's going to be stunning . I know I always do this, but I can't post pics nor mention the models name. However, i will let you know when it aires.

Sweets This Week

01 • 31 • 09     •     Personal

I'm going to brag a little about the sweets I received this week. Last summer Jeff and I photographed Jessica & Aaron's engagement session, couple you see below, at the Jersey Shore specifically Ocean City. While there, we walked the boardwalk which has all kinds of goodies such as fudge, ice cream and my favorite snack - popcorn. World Famous Johnson's Caramel Popcorn in a very large bucket is what I took home that day. And, to my surprise, I recently received in my mail some southern love from Jess and Aaron, yep, a thoughtful and generous bucket of caramel popcorn. Thanks. You rock my world.

My second sweet of the week was a gift of Godiva chocolates - boxes of truffles of all kinds, so yummy, from my favorite and only photo retailer and rental house in NYC - Adorama. I've been dedicated to them for 10 years - thanks guys!

I've finally created a gallery of images dedicated to couples and or their engagement session. Below is the slideshow from some of the shoots shot last year. You can also find this gallery option now on my main web site. The gallery is Rockin and colorful. Hope you all enjoy and thanks to everyone I worked with last year - so much fun!

Happy New Year!

01 • 05 • 09     •     Personal

Hope everyone had a terrific long relaxation celebrated with family, friends, and good food. This was the longest break Jeff and I had together in quite sometime and it was great. I spent a lot of time reading, trying out new recipes and hanging out with friends. Our place in the country had quite a bit of snow so the setting was perfect.
Sadly, we suffered a little scare for a few days and thought we might lose our very loved Boxer Boz of 14 years. He was so weak and had to be hand fed small amounts of food and carried outside. Thankfully he has perked up a bit and is doing much better - every moment is that much more precious.

On the lighter side, 2008 was an incredible year for us, we worked with beautiful people, and made great friends. Fun about last year was the diversity of projects, in addition to weddings, there were incredible portraits in NYC, fashion stories, coverage of well known fragrance launches and documenting a French tv commercial. I'm looking forward to 2009 and wish everyone a successful happy year.

A little change in subject.
Recreation - Bowling - Isn't this the coolest score sheet you've ever seen?
Jeff and I used to love bowling and found this one in the country. It's only got four lanes and is on the top floor of an Inn built in 1856. Everything is manual - meaning set the pins after every turn and keep score with paper and pencil. Fun, but a lot of work and therefore only one game was played.

that's me - almost a strike
