47 degrees and sunny in NYC is a beautiful day! We had waited a while to shoot this session and could hardly stand the thought of 20 and 30 degree so watching the forecast I knew this was the weekend. We were in a bit of a crunch since Katie and Michael will be getting married in March and wanted to get to know each other more before the big day. Yeh! we did it! So much fun. We met at Riverside park near the Hudson close to their home in NYC. It was perfect and allowed for multiple variations which I'm always into. Katie and Michael are easy going and open to all suggestions - my kind of couple.!

They're getting married in March - so keep an eye out for their wedding pics!

Gotta love Vegas for the fact that some of the old Vegas nostalgia still exists and literally just off the strip about a block or so. Had to photograph some of the Wedding chapels for its humor since it does have a reputation for the 2:00 am spontaneous tie the knot. Cupid's
wedding chapel is a favorite - I've seen this pic numerous times. I also love the 50's colors such as the pink hotel doors - I love the tackiness - something wacky and charming at the same time. Thought I'd share.

I shot this with film using a plastic Holga Camera. This camera has a lot of light leeks but makes for an interesting image

I love Elvis - this sign is a hoot. Also shot with film and the Holga camera

I like the juxtaposition of the desert landscape in the foreground with the happy love hearts.

love the one open door and the palm tree - and of course the pink doors

had to add this because it's so playful. on the strip (Las Vegas Boulevard)

For Animal Lovers:
After our 14 year old Boxer passed away this last February - our grief couldn't conceive of having another for some time. However, we've always loved the idea of rescuing an older Boxer since the older ones are typically overlooked. Giving comfort, love and security the last years of a animal's life couldn't be a better gift for all involved. Recently we began scouting Boxer rescues - and was immediately drawn in by the hapless stories. I wish I could take them all but sadly one is all we can do. Suzy caught our attention because of her age - 8 years old and her lovely eyes. After filling out the application and meeting with a volunteer we literally had one day to meet Suzy before our lives got too hectic. We met her on a Monday evening- fell madly for her and took her home that night. We've had her 3 weeks now and couldn't be happier. She is the sweetest razzle dazzle girl - totally loving and so mellow.
rescue is the way to go.
Below are a few pics

Last Monday I was booked to photograph DKNY's behind the scenes coverage/the making of a fragrance print ad and tv spot. I was hired Monday and flew out to Los Angeles Wednesday for a 3 day shoot held at Paramount studios in West Hollywood. Sunny California was not so sunny. For 3 days I spent most of my time under an umbrella shooting the action. Since the fragrance for DKNY won't be out for sometime i can't show the pics. But i will show one image of the rainy set - it's very cool how the shoot must go on no matter the condition.

Check out the link below!!!!!!
Julia and Gregory and a gorgeous image shot by us in in the NY Daily News.
